Im MAC and i used to be a soldier aswell, well a medic to be precise, dont you miss the cameraderie i do somtimes.
We will have to pull up a sandbag sometime and regail on memories.
nice to meet another old sweat.
Actually I've now been out twice as long as I was in, but yes, I do miss it. But still, upon reflection, I'm rather glad I'm a civvy now.

Re not knowing what to say to AGB.
You turned up on line. You let her know you cared.
When folk are still kinda numb that's plenty. What you say doesn't matter much. That you turned up to do so is what counts and is often all that's remembered thru the tears anyway.
thanks, It's really difficult to know what to say sometimes.
I'm hoping to pop down and see her next time I'm in UK.
