Hi new researcher, my name is Andy and I am an ACE here on h2g2. This stands for Assistant Community Editor - it's our job to welcome new researchers to the site and make them feel at home. There are loads of ACEs and we're all helpful and friendly. Click here to find out more :Aces A214796

If you haven't done so already, you could check out the Welcome page A53146 or catch a and take the Don’t Panic-Tour A317459 . By the way, if you're confused about any of the words or terms used around the site, try looking them up in the h2g2 Glossary A901829.
There are three main things you can do on h2g2 - you can read what others have written, you can talk A451522 to the rest of the community, or you can write your own entries for others to read A462485 : Writing-Beginners A686595 If you want something to read you could try h2g2's own weekly newspaper The Post U54963 which is full of cool articles, stories and cartoons. Or if you feel really daring, you could try a Random Edited Entry A147007 Who knows what you'll end up with!
