Oh yeah...speaking of Romeo and Juliet my initials are J.C. and his are R.M. Spooky huh?
Deeply. You don't have an admirer called Paris, do you?

Hehehe...no, but I'd be worried if I did.
I used to really fancy this girl (from afar), but now that we've become friends, I can't come to tems with the (purely physical) attraction I feel for her. Likewise, I have a bunch of female friends who I get on well with, but wouldn't dream of asking out. Is it just that love and friendship are two completely different things, and therefore incompatible?
NOOOOO!!! Certainly not!!! Chrome, chrome, chrome... :P
Friendship and love usually walk hand in hand... friendship leading, love sometimes not following, often not far behind. You must trust someone in order to love them, just as with friendship, but with more of a depth.
You can blame primal crap like a need to reproduce and find a suitable partner for that purpose. You can blame all kinds of stuff... You may not be IN LOVE with this friend, but certainly, to some extent, you do love her...
Because you have befriended her.
Aye!??
Oh yes! Thanks. It all makes sense when you think about it that way. Fortunately (or not) I won't be seeing her for 6 weeks.
::Sniffles::
I hope you will survive. Stock up on the comfort foods.
Someone I know says that it is impossible for men and women to be friends without some element of sexuality getting in the way at some point. Recently I thought that I had found an exception to this rule; however, as the friend in question is fourteen years hold and held by general consensus to be gay (he isn't; or at least he denies it...), apparently this doesn't count...
On a literary note, James Joyce wrote something about this in his story "A Painful Case":
"Love between man and man is impossible because there must not be sexual intercourse and friendship between man and woman is impossible because there must be sexual intercourse."
I'm a bit dubious about this, but it's interesting nonetheless.
"fourteen years hold"?
Hey - you know what I meant...
Held for fourteen years!?? Just giving you a hard time. You know it's all out of love.
Wasn't there some cheesy thing about friendship between the sexes and romance and all that in "When Harry Met Sally"!?? ..... Not that I watch that-- kind of thing...
Dunno... I wouldn't admit to watching it either.
At the moment I am quivering with fear, having been forced to watch both "The Fly" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" in a 24-hour time period...
Ooooo... scary...
Let's Do the TIMMEE WARRRP-PUH-GAIN!!!

Yeah! Rocky Horror Show is the best!
James Joyce was writing about a hundred years ago, when they hanged you for being gay, so I do't thik he's got the full perspective. Unfortunately, our times aren't as enlightened as we'd like to think...

It was indeed.
I may have to do this as the school play next year. I harbour great ambitions to be Janet.
