There is one more thing need to be said about flies, espacially gnats.
Many believe that gnats are always doing this loud wing-thing when they fly, but thatīs not true. They can fly perfectly silent, and they do it most of the time.
But when they notice that someone is about to get some sleep they fly perfectly silent to him and sit down in his ear.
Then they wait for that moment when you have just fell asleep and THEN they do that loud wing-thing.
Just wanted to let you know!

That is a gnatty observation but does it not imply they have brains to works out such tactics
