Do you mean in a conversation, or a Guide Entry?
If the latter, are you writing in Guide ML or plain text?

Go to the site & page you want to link to.
Highlight the whole of it in the address bar ( http>//www.~ etc) and copy it.
In your Reply box, make a new line and paste it in.
Click the 'Preview' box.
Click the link (it should be blue) (Right Click & select Open In New Tab - or New Window).
Check it worked properly (? Try again?).
Back to the Reply box, finish your typing, click 'Post Message'.
