i am searching for the translation "to stand alone", signifying strength and independence. if you could help me i would greatly appreciate it. i have had a few different answers to this question, and am hoping to find the correct phrase. thank you for your time.

Solus stare=to stand alone
Solus restare=to stand firm/make a stand/resist alone.
These are masculine. Replace "solus" with "sola" for the case of a female standing alone.
Help - I need the latin of Weep for thou must die Any takers?

thank you for your help. that is the first time i have gotten that reply, and i think i might go with it. but i do have one more question. would "i stand alone" translate into the same "sola stare"? or would it change?
