ok

I wonder if they will have little EVA suits and a treadmill to keep fit.

Hypatia, I'm all for mild weather in spring or autumn. But I hate it in winter as it brings grey days and rain.

I could use some mild weather. The constant cold gets a little old after a while.

Oh goodness. I am in total sympathy about the documantation process, Ben. I've been putting it off for me, and I have the whole B thing to look forward to.

Trouble is, for me, first I have to find out what my status actually has been, as I am getting conflicting reports from all sides, and frankly, I'm not sure where to begin. For B it's at least a bit clearer cut: everything has to be done. I hate bits of paper. I hate bits of paper. I hate bits of paper.

If I remember it correctly (I might be wrong) Hati's moving, and she won't be having any Internet connection from her new place of residence

Heyla all.

All this talk about little bits of paper has forced me to phone up the taxman and tell him I'm a student - they were surprisingly nice, but I'm expecting a rather nasty form in the post.. wah

I hate filing. But this week I have actually had some exposed desk to dust angel

*tips the last of the Merlot into her empty coffee mug and hopes she has another one about her person*

As I have been on emergency tax (i think) Since Easter, I should get some back come April smiley

Caer, Surrey Uni, at Guildford is mainly science based work, there is an amazing satelite departmentthat has several lumps of hardware floating around. I did an honours in Microbiology there.

Mind you they also did degrees in hospitaltiy studies and dance, neither of which had any exams in the first year if I remember corrctly yikes

It does have quite an eclectic mix of courses, Toc. But, yes, science is it's main claim to fame. Poor little Beagle 2 was largely built locally.

Well, I'm not sure that being the ones to build the beagle is actually a recommendation, is it...? biggrin

It depends on how you look at it. If Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, etc could build a car that traveled as far the Beagle did before breaking down, we would all be in very good shape.

hug Hati, we will keep your seat warm until you get back.

erm my little (ish he's 21) brother said that it was built at Manchester.

I've just been to see Return of the King, I hadn't read the books so quite enjoyed the film. But apparently it was the worst of the trilogy (I hadn't seen any of the others) and very badly corrupted plot wise.

And why didn't it end 20 minutes earlier?

Courtesy, I hate to disagree with you, but I think that you mistyped 20 minutes when you meant hours.
