I hate to be picky, but mulled wine is spelt glühwein, not gluwein. Just in case any Austrians are reading this.

by the way one short receipt for you to try Glühwein at home:
You need (sorry for the metric system): 1 bottle of a good red wine 1 cinnamon stick a lot of cloves (probably 10 to 15) 80g sugar 2 fresh oranges 1/4 l water
put the cloves in the paring of the oranges and afterwards lump everything together.
Heat the pot but not over 70 Degrees Celsius (remember: Above this temperature the alcohol would disappear!!!)
Heat the pot for round 15 minutes. Fill the glühwein in a cup let it cool down a little and enjoy it!
