Hi, I don't usually spend a lot of time on h2 but was drawn to your lovely name - "Let's go Mets" rather than "Sarcastic"!
Things are looking grim for the best team in NY. Fingers crossed for tonight. The game is going out live to one of the TV stations here in the UK. Too late for me though - I'll record it & watch it when I get home from work on Thursday. That won't stop me from checking out the score on MLB.com
Let's hope it goes to the final game.
Why do I like the Mets (I can tell you just dying to know!)?. The first WS game that I saw was in 1986 & was the best thing I'd seen for a long time.

Hi there! Sadly, my Metsies came up short this year. 
But I'm a Mets fan, so I'm used to saying, "Wait 'til next year!"
If nothing else, maybe it'll be easier to get tickets to games!

Beaten by a 2 run homer in the 9th - what can you say?!
I'll be watching the World Series (or Final as we Brits would say). For what it's worth, I think the Tigers will walk it - unless they've managed to out-think themselves while waiting for the NLCS to finish.

I think the Tigers will take it too. I just hope they haven't been sitting too long, since they won so long ago!
It's funny, but a friend of mine here on hootoo is from Detroit, and just a couple of years ago we had a bet over who's team would be worst at the end of the season. He won ... just barely. Now we both had teams in the final four! Whodathunk?

The Mets eh - what a team! And the Yankees have pulled a game back on the Indians.
It's either the D-Backs or the Rockies for me this year.

Howabout them Giants? Not quite a home run but the Manning kid sure pulled off a big one with more than a little help from the D.
I'm a Miami fan so was dead chuffed that the Pats lost.
