Why, Thankyou Dragonfly smiley

I'm not sure quite where my life is heading... (yet again)... At the moment I'm just going to relax a bit and do something that's fun and constructive... That's probably why I'm back on H2G2 smiley

Homework, house and Jesse... tongueout

Sometimes I can take care of homework and Jesse while at work(since we work at the same place, and I ALWAYS do my homework on breaks, unless someone starts talking to me!!! tongueout )... smiley

I miss him..... he comes home tonight though!!! YAY!!! smiley

Oh!!! Since this is in the job forum, it'd be nice of me to return to the subject at hand(kinda): yesterday, my manager offered to put me in her open part-time cake decorator position(She say the work I was doing to help our cake decorator the day the other was sick)... and someone even bought my cute cat cake yesterday!!! YAY!!! smiley

That's ok smiley But don't yell at the computer, it's not its fault that your expectations, of its capabilities, exceed them winkeye
I've learn't over my life that a computer (like nature) only goes wrong when something interfeers with it, usually us, and that although they are made out to be smart and inteligant. They're not... simply because, unlike us, they don't adapt to their environment. They mearly react to it. smiley

Hmm, not wanting to sound stupid, but Who is Jesse? Also do you work in a cake shop? AND, what r u studing? smiley

Jesse is my sweetie-poo(has been my best friend virtually since we first met about two years ago)!! smiley YAY!!! I am glad you asked!!! smiley

I work in a bakery department at a Wal*Mart Supercenter.... it is fun, and much easier than my old job as a deli clerk. Bleh. tongueout Did I mention my manager offered a part-time cake decorating job to me the other day!?? I must have... heance, you asked about my employment... hahahahaaa....

The cool thing about work is, that's where Jesse and I met. And even though the first store we worked at ended up overworking us, and we both left eventually, SOMEHOW we both started new jobs at the same place on the same day(how convienent!!!) tongueout

The classes I am taking right now are Spanish II, British Literature, and History of Western Civilization. I'll see how I did on tests in the first and last classes today...(I feel pretty good about them...) and I'll propose my thesis for my paper due on the ninth of November to the Literature professor... Better go eat some breakfast... tongueout

"sweetie-poo" .... (chuckles...) Sorry, it's just an odd expression smiley Well that's cool that you've found a friend that understands you so well smiley

So your more of a "Culturalist" than a "Reasoner" then I guess. From you subjects anyway smiley

I never got on too well with English at school, I think more because of the way it was taught to me rather than my ability to create it smiley

"Sweetie-poo" is a good word for Jesse!!! He's more than a boyfriend, so pllllggghhh!!! I give you raspberries!!! tongueout

I don't especially like REASON... tongueout You're right. I have to take stinky math and science, though... at that stinks to the extreme... poop!!! Stupid United States..... you suffer twelve years of math, science, and English, and then when you start COLLEGE, and you KNOW what you've wanted to do with your life since you were nine years old, they don't care. You have to go through the subjects you are miserable at(and in) once more. Evil.

I am waiting until they change the system... hahahahaa... ehhh...

English can stink or be very great. tongueout

I'm sorry I didn't mean to insult smiley So is he your boyfriend then... I'm still not entirely sure of the relationship here... forgive my nosyness smiley

The UK isn't much better on that front, we don't ever let you get away from things like maths or IT. My friends now doing a photography course, before that he did an Art and a Agricultural studies course... all at differant places, and for each they've made him do Maths and IT all over again... Which he didn't really appreciate winkeye
I think though, that if you wait for them to change... you'll never be satisfiedsadface The only way we can change things is by moaning about them winkeye
Yes I admit, English is fun when your allowed to be free with it.. My problem was that they never did any books I liked at school and they always made us write really poitless essays... I think in my life, I've only ever written 3 or 4 essays! bigeyes
Thankfully all this time off working I now have, has allowed me time to start reading again smiley

My passion is fixing things, or people if they need it winkeye
But reading IS fun smiley Funnily enough that's where I live... in a town called "Reading" prounounced redding. bigeyes

My favorite books... well of the few I've read, I'd probably go by author; God, Douglas Adams, Frank Herbert, Issac Asimov, Tolkein, Shakespear, C.S. Lewis, Doug Naylor & Rob Grant, that greek chap..

Yeah! Go for it smiley It never hurts to speak about what you believe in.

One thing I've learn't in life: don't go out with someone who isn't a really close friend. Because otherwise the only reason your toghether is passionate love, which only lasts for a few years. The thing that will last forever is a blend between friendship and caring love. Because you can never be mad at a friend winkeye
