Do you think dolphins are sentient?
How broadly does one define sentience? for instance, dolphins are obviously not tool-users, which has often been considered a requirement.

Of COURSE dolphins are sentient. We may spend all our lives mucking about in the sea having a good time instead of mastering the black arts of tool using, but why would we need stuff like fire and wheels anyway?

umm.... latest news is that they do have some tool using abilities
