The M25, is probibley the most the most famous in the United Kingdom. The traffic is bad morning, noon and night (well kept for Sundays) and bad is an understatement. There are plans to build a bypass for the M25 (the London bypass) which is rediculas but has a certain point to it. In the HHGG, Arthur Dent lives near London (as he can get to the Islington party) and yet lives in the countryside. So the guide a sign that the bypass will go through someones home and when it does the world would be destroyed for the Vogon bypass (to save time going through the western spiril arm.
