Hello there, I read that with great interest. Would you care to make a list with BBC occurrences so we can remove them?
And have you read the Unified Guide Theory? A82700048
It is a controversial topic - always has been, but everybody's input is very welcome.
Bel
I have added a discussion topic to the Unified Guide Theory post, but as it was turning into a Lecture I instead linked to a new Guide Entry. The Relational Guide Mechanic is where it's at now
I don't know if Guide Entries on the guide itself are worth submitting for an Edited Guide Review? Sounds a bit metaphysical to me. Anyway... listing all the mentions of BBC... well how long have you got? I'll give a go at producing some sort of list tonight, but what do I get in return? In the immortal words of Tony Hancock "Do we get a badge?" (Blood Donor)
Oh and where do you want it delivered?

Err - it's probably best to post it here, and I'll log it elsewhere.
I looked up Tony Hancock.
Blood donors in my country get a badge if they donate frequently.
I'll go and look for your Post and entry.
I heartily recomend listening to the radio play of the "Blood Donor", but don't think I didn't notice the side stepping on whether I'd get a badge or not... I could have been completely greedy and asked for a balloon, but I held back...

I'm sorry, it is not in my remiss to award badges.
And which channel is that radio series on? I might even be able to listen to it here.
I'm afraid it's long gone now. I can't remember what Series it was on (It might have been on Hancock's Half hour) but it would have been broadcast around the 50's. (Long before my time)
However, repeats are periodically played on the BBC and there are various audio cd's and even dvd's (he did a couple of movies too) out there.
The blood donor was a particular episode which was done both for Radio and TV. The TV footage can be seen on youtube, but the radio show is a better recording. Before the end Hancock had a heavy drinking problem and it shows a bit in the TV recording of the Blood Donor, still good though.
