I suspect I'm beggared on this one, because all I can see now is sonata so unless trio sonata is something I've not heard of, I'm not going to get it.
No matter how I write the letters sonata leaps out at me.
I've just stumbled on 'Trio Sonata' myself, and knowing Recumbentman's a knowledgable muso, I guess that's right.

So indeed. Rumbled. I was just given a CD of some of Bach's trio sonatas for organ, played by Helmut Walcha. Chaiwallah gave it to me with a covering note saying that it is the best recording of the best music ever written.
