Hi, CC, I thought I'd drop in, say hello and let you know how Brian and friends are getting on.
My course at the University of Sussex had its last official session last Tuesday. This is sad, because the Centre for Community Engagement, which runs these things, is closing down.
The good news is that the courses they run are moving to New Writing South, in the middle of Brighton. If you're interested in these things, check out their website at www.newwritingsouth.com
In the meantime, I'm hurrying to finish my final assignment - 5,000 words creative writing and 1,000 words essay. In theory, the creative writing should be easy, because I've written a lot more than that, but I keep rewriting. At least I decided to keep Brian as Brian. He's just come to inhabit his name. I need to send the lot off before we go to France on 7 June.
At least it keeps the old brain oiled!
Hullo sweetie! Lovely to hear from you. Thanks for the update on Brian. I am glad he is still Brian. He might have got confused if he had become Bob. That's an interesting idea, and phrase, to inhabit one's name. I like that.
So, you are about to complete your course? 5.000 words? Holyscribes, that's a lot. heheh. Interesting about New Writing South. I shall check out. We are in aforementioned crazy seaside down at the moment, in fact.
I'm doing fine, working on a stash of photos with added weird writings, pictures of fountain pens and things. Having a great time. Post Ed is encouraging new work. heheh. He might regret it.
Have to go, husband waiting for netbook. So annoying, when we are away from home we have to share the one computer.
Speak soon, and have a lovely time in France if we don't speak before.
