hullo Rich .. thanks for your message .. how ye doin'? I haven't said hullo to you in ages .. I've been lurking in the shads ..actually I've been lurking on Phred's 'campfire' thread for a year ..



so! a spot of ramblin' and drinkin' up on the old high ground .. looks great! .. I am having to spend quite a few weekends up in Sussex at the moment - an elderly parents situation .. and matters arising .. but if I am here, I (and perhaps my hubby also ..) will definitely come and find you folks .. be it in the pub, or in Wistman's Wood or somewhere ..



I'll let you know nearer the time, if that's OK .. obviously we won't need accommodation, being local folks n' all ..

That's great! It would be really good to meet up with you, and we've got quite a few 'maybe's now - it should be a really good get-together. Hubbies are very welcome; Trillian's Child might be bringing her husband over from Germany, and Mina is bringing a 12 year old and two dogs. I'm really looking forward to it, I love being up on the moors.

I've added you to the page as a possible, anyway - just let me know when you know if you can make it or not

the meet sounds its going to be a right fun time .. and healthy also .. all that air and alcohol ! ...

Rich .. as predicted - fate, destiny and family situations do take us up country on that weekend, so I won't be able to attend the event ..

but I do sincerely hope to meet you in 'the hometown' one of these days .. Hyp and Phred have my private e-mail, if we get as far as making any plans sometime in the future ..

have a wonderful time .. and look forward to seeing the written/photograph account of the event, perhaps, somewhere on h2 ?

Oh, that's a shame...

I'll be trying to get something similar on the go in the autumn; this was a real, last minute rush to organise, which is partly why the list is so short!

In the meantime, though, if you fancy meeting up any time, email me at skankyrich[at]excite[dot]com and I'll email you back from my 'real' email address. I often pass through Totnes, and it would be great to meet up with a 'local' Researcher!
