Subject: Calling all Netscape Users in the UK...

slight problem, I'm trying to translate some instructions into english for how to turn off (or on) cookies in Netscape...
And surprise surprise, I haven't actually got a copy of Netscape in English on this computer...

The french phrase is...

sélectionnez l'option « préférences » dans le menu « édition », puis cliquez sur « confidentialité et sécurité ».

Now, I've translated that as

select 'Preferences' from the 'Edit' menu, then click on 'Privacy and Security'

Could someone just confirm two things -
One - I've used the right terms
and
Two - these instructions are actually valid for a recent version of Netscape

Thanks guys

cheers

There hasn't been a decent version of Netscape ever since AOHell bought it. The majority switched over to Mozilla and its variants. However, if you've got instructions for the latest version of Mozilla Suite, they should be virtually the same as for whatever the current edition of Netscape it.

It's ok, I bluffed my way through it eventually...

Don't know If I got it right but the website in question is already on line winkeye

(Anyway - anyone who has actually got the intelligence to install and run Netscape or Mozilla _should_ be able to turn their cookies on and off unaided)
