Well after such an auspicious start to the summer break, what else did I expect?
First, Keir has swine flu, reacts to the Tamiflu (and the doctors don't have anything to say)
and mum and dad have mile-wide stares for three weeks.
We then discover that two much loved pets have died. Lovely gerbil and Fluffy Bunny the budgie. Two empty cages are so sad.
Now we discover we have head visitors*  when can I start to relax?
On the plus side, we have a lovely  a real one! She's beautiful.

I am also now the proud owner of Guitar Hero (three and World Tour), two guitars and a drum kit. Now, if only I
could beat Lou I can play Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames**
*I'm currently covered in a well known brand of chemical treatment - and it's dripping rather badly
**I'm getting callouses on my fingers playing 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia', man that guy is ~hard~ to beat.
