Reading about Spotted Dick re-kindled pleasant memories (haven't eaten it in years). Other puddings of a similar ilk are Jam Roly-Poly and Treacle Pudding both of which use suet if I'm not mistaken. How about the old milk puddings: tapioca (frogspawn we called it at school), semolina and of course rice pudding, not forgetting good old bread and butter pudding. I loved them all.
Any memories of yummy school puddings out there?
MMmmmmmmm, Puddings ....
