The H.J.Heinz Co. Ltd. (of Hayes, Middlesex UK) still offers their canned product under the name "Heinz Spotted Dick - Sponge Pudding"
Bad news:
Ingredients: Water, Sugar, Wheat Flour, Raisins, Partially Hydrogenated Canola Oil and Pal Oils, Non-Fat Dry Milk, Partially Inverted Sugar Cane Syrup, Leaveners (Sodium Diphosphates, Sodium Bicarbonate), Egg Whites, Salt, Spices and Spice Extractives, Natural Flavours.
Not a bit of Suet thru it.
