Hello. This looks like a very interesting project. I would certainly like to participate if you will have me. smiley

There are a couple of things I though you might be interested in:

First, there is a new Peace Garden (C54646), recently added to the World of h2g2 categories (C572). I thought you might wish to have a link to The Circle included there, as it seems to be just the sort of thing for which the Peace Garden was envisioned.

Second, I thought you may be interested in seeing Julia Butterfly's Circle of Life Foundation:

http://www.circleoflifefoundation.org/home.htm

This amazing woman sat in a tree for two years, defending a giant tree and the concept of ecological sanity that the survival of the tree symbolizes (A413786).

Robert Frost could be the patron saint of all the stuff that gives life meaning.

Hi John. Welcome.

We would be honored to link to the Peace Garden. And thank you for the link to the Circle of Life Foundation. rose What an inspiring woman! We need more people with her vision and determination.

I hope you will find some conversations at The Circle that you will enjoy.

Hypatia

I'm so glad you dropped by. I realized that we hadn't gotten the welcome page fixed and all that was there was the Robert Frost poem.

It's back the way it should be now. blush

I adore Robert Frost. So happy to find someone else who appreciates him.

I'm afraid that I'm usually in too much of a muddle, these days, to really spend the time with Robert Frost that he deserves. But I often think fondly of hot summer days or yore, when a friend introduced me to his work.

I've posted a note to Natalie, asking her to add a link in the Peace Garden. It may be some time, I'm afraid, as she and Jimster seem to be rushed off their poor feet since the BBC people shuffle.

In the meantime, I've added a link to The Circle in h2g2 Friends of Tibet.
