Crumbed sheeps brains are an old favourite in Australia. I tried once (very hard) to eat them but failed. I still get a large lump in my throat every time I think about it. I much prefer blackpudding!

I had a friend from the Black Country (West Midlands area of England, south-west of Birmingham) whose Dad, every Saturday, as a *treat*, would sit down to Cow's brain sandwiches. I kid ye not.

Ah! the origin of the term 'brain-dead'. I thought the Black Country was the home of Black Pudding.
