I would like to be able to eat a satsuma in October without someone telling me that it's making them think of Christmas.

I want people to stop telling me it's nearly Christmas. It comes around pretty reliably every year.

I want never to see Richard E Grant making yet another awful advert for Argos and ruining any career credibility he had (& that goes for Neil Morrissey, Leslie Ash and anyone else who can't rely on their talent to get them actual acting jobs).

I would like people not to think about the starving children in Africa having a miserable Christmas as that won't help them the other 364 days of the year.

& most of all I would like not to have to hear people bang on about how 'I'm not into the commercial side of christmas, it's just about enjoying time with my family' who are the exact same people who shortly after the event will tell you a) how much their relatives annoy them & b) how rubbish their presents were this year.

-- i don't know, live shorter but more meaningful lives perhaps?

does christmas give a point to your life? (are you santa claus or maybe an elf?)
