I got a piece of coding on my PS today, that tells me who has me in their friends list, instead of just seeing who I have in mine.
And now, I feel slightly sad, at what I've found.
There were several people who put me in their friend list, but I didn't know about it, so I never put them in mine.
Like Researcher 246548. I never remember talking to this person, but maybe something I posted somewhere led him (him?) to put me as a friend. He did so around October of 2003. And then, I never talked to him.
Maybe that's why he's not here, anymore. Because he thought I was ignoring him, when I just didn't know he exsisted. Maybe that's even worse...
I wish he had said something. Left me a note, or something. I wish hootoo would notify me when I get put on someone's list.
Then, I would have known about him. I could have been his friend, rather than the guy he wanted to be friends with, but ignored him, until he left.
And now, it's too late.
He's gone.
Well, Researcher 246548, if you ever come back, or if you're out there at all...
 I don't know.
I wish I could have been your friend.
 It's not your fault. Maybe s/he just left. It happens.
