Nope, no message from you Alex. Wordpress is our content management system on the clothing website, so we were already familiar with it. And then kea mentioned Wordpress on another thread the other day as a good place for blogs, so we decided to try it out (Noggin has started one too).

Actually, the name for that skin is 'almost spring' Elfrida. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I wasn't keen on the other skins and it also reminds me a bit of the colours on our website.
Apparently - are you ready? - Wordpress has been going through some system error problems due to not having enough servers (sound familiar?) but they say are in the final stages of more than doubling the servers, so that sounds promising.

Obviously the sheer number of friends and "interested parties" that you possess, all anxious to visit, overwhelmed their servers...
 Let's hope more than double the present servers is enough!
I'm actually having lots of fun with it, figuring out how to do stuff. I've added a Links page and put some stuff on the About Me page (still more to do there, I think). There is also a forum that I had a quick look at. But I think I'll mostly use the blog as a journal and chatting with friends as I can edit everything there (and also swear if I want to!  ) and continue to use the conversation forums here.
Just wondering about some other people's blogs - seems you need to register for a blog to just leave a message on some of them.

Hiya Az, I have bookmarked your blog and will visit as often as time permits.
I'm fairly certain you'd need to register with LiveJournal to post to mine. No worries if you don't want to do that- I didn't want to register at a number of different blog sites, either.
Yeah, I noticed that at Livejournal you can't post any comments unless you register (or unless you want to post as 'anonymous'), which is a bit off-putting. I like that Wordpress and Blogspot don't require this.
Anyhow, keep checking in . . . will hopefully be posting more stuff there soon.
