There was some debate about that when I first showed up here ... certainly I remember drawings by Quentin Blake and I think we did all decide in the end that Kenneth Williams had read the stories. I've always thought they were brilliant although still don't have the full set

Jackanory was great for introducing me to books I probably otherwise wouldn't have read.
