A kind soul gave me your name as a Plymouth resident.
I'm going to uni there next month and need to know some good pubs.
This will allow me to pretend to be worldly and knowledgable rather than scared and disoriented.
Ta.
i think i can sort that out for you. What sort of places do you wanna visit i live right in the city centre pritty much and the uni is very close so just tell me what your looking for and get back to you.

Somewhere nice that plays alternative/indie music.
Oh, and quite cheap would be good too.
Right theres a place called the voodo lounge right in the town centre its cheap (pritty much all students) and its only about 5 mins from the uni campus. The best way to find it by going to marks and spencer at the top end of town (you cant miss it) then just go under a walk way up some steps walk straight forward for about 50 feet and your there. Union street is the clubbin area wheres theres are lots of places to go like millenium (used to be but its a bit sh*t now but thats just my opinion) if you wanna know about any other types of places just ask.
