...otherwise I'd be pointing out that you'd miss the Garlic Meet by quite a bitwinkeye

Of course, as I pointed out to Ben, *I* may have to miss out on the meet, since my due date is a week before, and only 2% of women actually deliver ON their due date. I'm hoping I'm a little early... But amyway, if I can't make it, because I'm either in labor that very day, or just not recovered enough to wander around all day, y'all could be the first h2g2ers (other than Tom nd I, of course) to see PaperBaby in the fleshsmiley Either way, email me a bit closer to the time (either one of you) and I can email you my phone number. If you're going to be checking email during the trip, I'll add one of you to the people I'm going to draft an email to and have Tom add little things to after the baby's born (you know, like gender... and the phone number of my hospital room) and then I'll have him hit send. OK, so I'm babbling, but I've not ben up long yet, and this is cool ...

You didn't put me on the list of people you're going to meetcross Just for that, you'll have to add Tom (U186907) and PaperBaby (U211555) (Of course, meeting PaperBaby is assuming the little one's not really late...)

Maybe next time you update, you could put the update date up top...

Still can't think of anything to do in Sacto other than the Crocker Art Museum and Sutter's Fort... After all, Tom and I will be a bit on the broke side... I know there's an Entry on a restuarant here, Aces (I recognize the name 'cause it's the place that looks like it has a plane through it) but I think it's a wee bit spendy...

So I suppose I should see what's here... Other than the Capital (across the street from here, and may well be closed on the 1st... Though I've never been inside, and we could do a tour on the 2nd...) and the other things I already listed. And of course, if you really want, I could drag you through the Treasury building and introduce you to the folks that see the h2g2 screen in front of my face every daywinkeye (Be a good excuse to bring the baby in to show off, too...)

OK (though it'd be a good excuse for me to get to see some of that stuffwinkeye )

Fair warning--I'm boring... Even more so IRL! Though if we end up at my house, it's nice and cool (still will be a bit on the warm side, though GT may not think so, since it's not humid)

laugh I could always force you guys to look at all the artwork that wouldn't fit on the scanner!

Oh, I should likely let you know... We won't be able to give you a place to crash... We've room for one, but not two, and definately not 3 (since, IIRC, Purplejenny's coming too?) since, by the time you get here, the spare bedroom won't be spare anymore... I could scout around for prices for you, as far as lodging/camping places (yes, I saw you're going to have tents)/places to park-and-sleep (actually, our neighborhood's pretty good...) I could always ask Tom's cousin, the one that's been helping him on-and-off to get stuff ready for recording, if you guys could park at his small farm... I also saw Ben say that comparing sticks could be interesting...

Camping at a small farm would be heaven!

Don't worry about hospitality - we are grateful for offers, but not actually asking.

Well, since I've been assured that sitting around vegging is fine with both of you, I'll stop fretting about itok

But I did just realize last night that the State Fair should be going on while you're in Sacto, if you're interested... And if either of you are interested in rides... (All the good rides take 2 people, no more, no less, and Tom gets motion sickness, and I'm just not that cruel, so I don't get to do rides that often...)

GT's got my phone number...
