I have a set of small flashing LED lights which I've attached to the front and back of my cycle helmet. Being LED's, and rarely getting used, the batteries have actually lasted 2 years. They have now, however, reached the end of their useful life, so I went shopping to replace them.
I need 4 batteries, which cost £2.70 a pair, total cost £5.40.

Alternatively I can buy a complete new set of identical LED lights, complete with batteries... for £2.65.

buy 2 and by the time they'll have run out, you'll have saved loads of money as they'll go up in price I've done the same with some shoes
