Would that lead you near that barrow that is pointed out early on during your escape from Helgen?
Yeah, it's a bit to the east of the barrow I think.
Also found that there's a path leading to the *other* side of the tower you reach before the barrow. Good for sneaky sneaky stuff. Just north of that random shack by the river.
One of these days I'll take the time to follow all the roads all the way. I have yet to follow the one on the opposite side of the river from Riverwood. I've tried travelling together with NPCs rather than fast travelling and 'see you there' and that has given some new map points.
Will Runes injure my follower/dog if they run into it while triggered by an enemy?
Seems I un-throned Jarls on both sides by the choices I made at the peace treaty - just talked to a dark elf seated at Ulfric's talbe, and all she had to say was:
'I hope the wilds take you one of these days'
And the male Nord beside her was no happier to see me either - didn't quite catch what he was saying, but I got the impression he used to be the body guard of some Jarl, and his final words were:
'I'll be keeping an eye on you' in a grim voice.
So the Imperials don't like me, the Stormcloaks don't like me *clings to the Thieves' Guild*
You like me Brynjolf, don't you?
'Sorry lass, I've got important things to do'
Janessa, you stil like me, right?
'We are of the same kind you and I, I'm glad to have met you'

Note, the NPCs quoted in my previous post are not made up - they reflect my current character's standing.
What peace treaty is this?
Also ran into one of the Stormcloak friendly de-throned Jarls, who said:

Let me think - this is the first character I've done it with. I think it's vital that you haven't chosen a side, because it wasn't available to my previous characters.
Season Unending
Comes after you've fought Alduin at Paathurnax' place...
Ah, well I have chosen a side, and haven't fought Alduin yet. I'm still working through all the quests.  I won't replay a game I've just played so I want to do everything with this character, and I've got this weird thing where once the main quest is finished, that's it I can't play anymore.
I'm rather hoping Bethesda will keep adding to the main quest through the patches - like a never-ending story.
Do PS3s get patches?
Couldn't get the elven archer as I did the other side of the quest. Bums. I'm trying Sven instead. just loading him up. Mjoll made of feel bad when I sacked her.
Taken me nearly 3 hours faffing about shopping, potion making and finding a new follower.*sigh*
If I stand still for more than 5 seconds he starts playing his sodding flute.

Still have access to an unnamed horse. Mounted, I tried fast travelling to the mage college, but somehow managed to completely miss landing on the bridge and instead fell to my death (together with said horsie).
Hmph.
I *have fast travelled to the college mounted before, successfully - obviously, I was simply lucky on those occasions...

I'm not *trying to fool anyone, this is Riften, I'm always wearing sneaky stuff here, idiot!
Anyone else find themselves changing apparel according to location? I always wear mage stuff at the college, sneaky stuff in Riften and so on..
