As a result, I am now constantly faced with the responsibility of having spread unhealthy relational skills, bad moods and habits amongst my fellow humans, through 2 of our 4 chldren. The other 2 could certainly use what is yet to come about to improve culturally, socially and economically.

What I just described is a very wide spread natural system of personal and social defeat that calls for a natural system of overcoming adversity. It cannot be done with old correctional approaches and methods and can certainly not be ignored.

I've been looking for nearly 30 years for what it takes but it is either punishment that does nothing for healing, or band-aid programs that end up doing more arm than good in the long run.

At this point of such dire of cultural and social polarisation, I agree that it takes an equivalent of what you call, an iron fist but along with that fist, it also takes a firm, caring hand that can "grab on" contexts that may stretch up to 3 or 4 generations.

This would open the avenue to deal directly with the whole context, so as to identify and to address each one's degree of ignorance and indifference, driving cry freedom to move individuals to embark on the recovery road, transforming self and the context.

Most people of the underground economy can be approached with a genuinely humane approach such as this and all of humanity can only benefit from it, as it would demonstrate a successful "people laundering process" from illegal to legal tender.

In Canada, we are in the middle of a federal elections. The Prime Ministre who seeks re-eletion, does so with one of his promises being to build more jails, if he gets the majority that has eluded him twice so far.

If he does get re-elected and also gets his majority, I sure hope that someone can give him in person, my motion to volunteer into helping him to insure that the building of those jails will accomodate The Recovery Road from self-destruction to self-control and community self-governing, to deal with contexts that stretch over all long and far as needed to heal the meaning and the living of caring...
