I dream of seeing the opening of a local-global Reconciliation Centre, radiating by the Presnce of God from within my own family and into the communal social fabric that surrounds me, feeding on the Holy Spirit to grow the Eternal's Covenant in Christ-Jesus, serving to heal the human essence of being-having-doing..
As an individual who is a son, a brother, a spouse, a father, a grand-father, a neighbour and a citizen of a greatly blessed land and people, I pray to arrive where and when sovereignty becomes by God's grace:

In my dreaming, I see Canada becoming the land where all people from all over the world, accept the calling of God in Christ, accepting to let God heal our history, so that we learn to shape our present in view of His eternal presence.
As we get to be assembled together in His glory, we become the divine basis for the Spirit to demonstrate and to spread God's Kingdom on earth as in heaven...

Moving on within the socio-cultural development of econo-political order with Acts 4, 32-35...

Looking at these 2 passages from the point of view of being seated together by God in the heavenly places in Christ-Jesus, resting and feeding in the vitality of God's eternal life, we clearly get the view that this is how Christ designed His church to live on earth, sensing its launch from only 2 days ago...
...for to God, one of His day is as 1000 years of ours...
In my own personal language, this is the most accurate scene given us by the experience of the Holy Spirit and by scriptures, to describe the Kingdom of heaven on earth, getting built within each by God's Spirit, moving us all by God's glory, spreading within the power, love and wisdom of the perpetual celebration of Easter upon the Land of Emmanuel...
Such simple, yet, sovereign order of the Church comes from the common simplicity of our personal devotion to Christ, saving the Church wit the freedom from the law of sin and death, within the victory of Christ to overcome the flesh, the world and Satan, one day at the time...

After visiting this Hexayurt, it got me thinking along the lines of:
Can we develop an approach that brings together refugees and homelessness? Being on the verge of homelessness myself, I became open to a wide range of possibilities, in order to survive together, my family and I.
It seems like an obvious way to go. The rich countries like Canada could work at developing a "bottom line standard of living", because we all understand that each person who lives below that line, is bad for everybody else as well as for the person itself.
So that perhaps, it is time to support the live development of a universal social policy, defining and drawing the bottom line of human Health-Education-Correction, from homeless and refugee to personal and communal comfort.

To illustrate the organic growth that I mentioned, there is the plea and appeal that was made by a police officer after the Dawson college shooting in Montréal. He said: “Our security depends on people knowing each other as neighbours well enough from talking with one another, that these sorts of mental conditons dont get an opportunity to go on, unoticed.”
The internet lab setting where I incubate my thoughts works in 12 languages to organise independent thinkers from around the world. We now work intensely to reach the voices of chage such as the Clinton, Gore and the genius of all who care for a present that can provide humanity with a future.
My aim with them, is to launch an emrgency response team that could be dispatched from Canada to spread Health-Education-Correction’s development.

The way that this thread is developing it looks like there is a lack of key understanding of themes for globalvillages that I had thought were well grounded in this community. However, the discussion shows that we are just as easily confused by bad science and propaganda as is the general public. It is important that their are communities that are acting as confident champions for the clean photosynthesis energy path and the distributed production and efficient utilization of the biofuels that are capable of providing all of humanity with an abundance of sustainable energy resource.
When I hear this disinformation and defeatist arguments it is clear to me that we have not actually heard and taken on board the statements that George has made so forcefully, so many times: He cannot comprehend the "so called advanced industrialized nations" that continue to spread untreated livestock wastes on fields, thus polluting the ground water and missing out entirely on the bioenergy resource that would be derived from an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) method of handling these wastes as a resource. At the same time there is all the human wastes and food that is produced but not consumed and is sent largely to landfill. HOW CAN WE SET THESE FACTS ASIDE AND PRETEND THEY DON'T EXIST!?
Over 400 million acres of land is growing feed crops and 500 million acres (in the USA) are exploited for livestock pasturing and free ranging of cattle. 10 pounds of feed go to one pound of weight gain of cattle (even in feedlots) and so most of the biomass and biofuel resource is remaining in the manure of the livestock. We eat the meat and the the hunanure and food waste contain all of the rest of the energy that is embodied in the remaining biomass which is still containing 90% of the original energy. Therefore, if we universally applied AD methods then we can count ALL OF OUR MILLIONS OF ACRES of crop production as ENERGY CROPS. There is no need to look for a new land base for new energy crops - AS IF THE EXISTING PRODUCTION DID NOT EXIST.
Why the resistance to introduce AD to all farming, feedlot and food sectors? Because it would set in motion a revolution of energy production by small, distributed producers as a bi-product of their operations at negligible cost and would destroy the pricing myth of energy products as well as knock the legs out from under the powers that be who would rather engage in conflict to control the fossil energy reserves - in spite of clear evidence that these resources need to be left in the ground.
These "new" (more properly called neglected) energy resources are based on current agriculture practices and these practices themselves have been destructive to the ecology and can be greatly improved if only we invested in the effort to do the right and organic thing in this "industry" that is largely manipulated by the powerful petro-chemical sector. We know that much of these additional changes are accessible by social adjustments and that is where the GlobalVillages theme fits with maximizing the results of a biofuel - clean photosynthesis energy future.
Crops like sugar cane and sugar beet can convert 1 to 2% of photosynthesis energy on a single crop basis. That is a level of production that is much greater then any possible wood energy crop. However, grass crops and aquatic plants can produce twice the biomass. Algae can produce several times more biomass. Therefore, it is also important to look seriously at these alternative biomass culture methods. There is no doubt that corn to ethanol is not a high conversion or net efficiency rate - so it is always the choice of the current petrochemical dominated political system that would not want to show a winner.
Oil crops are also mentioned but the oil is small by % for field crops (seed, nuts or beans) yielding less than 5% of the crop by weight but the remainder of the crop is still biomass and is fed to livestock and therefore the manure that is produced and can be used for AD to produce BioMethane is a much larger resource than the oil content. The tropical crops mentioned and palm oil are not the only alternative vegetable oil sources. Algae have been proved to produce 50% by weight and as much as 10 Kg of oil per M2 per year. Such rates of production have been observed and the research into such viable energy conversion was curtailed in 1996 because the great potential of these methods would be totally disruptive to Big Energy and there political puppets.
The conservative extrapolation of the potential of these advanced bioenergy approaches shows that the USA could be energy independent for all liquid fuel demand by using only 15 million acres of algae production. SolaRoof is a system for roof level photosynthesis based energy systems and if we used only about 20% of roofs for SolaRoof operations we could be energy independent without using any "land" resources at all.
Therefore, in summary, we could use AD technology to exploit existing agricultural biomass (biowastes) that would contribute as much to our supply as all of the coal power plants that are in service. We could then use urban roof area to supply abundant energy that would be sustainable for the future as completely distributed energy production/consumption. We could recover all food wastes and human wastes with AD and further treatment with living plants. These systems, using SolaRoof technology for closed atmosphere operation will avoid the release of CO2 to the atmosphere and can have a positive role in removal of CO2 from the atmosphere and avoiding fossil fuel combustion. As we further regenerate the planetary ecology and practice agriculture that restores biomass in the soils and living biomass in biosphere, then we will see the balance of CO2 in the atmosphere decline due to this uptake. This is the only "natural" sequestration program that has a true potential to work without doubt; without risk of future technological crisis.
The above focuses only on the supply side and it is very important that we have a complete program for Contraction & Convergence on a much lower level of consumption of energy. This is a different discussion and one that relates strongly to lifestyle and that is where the vision for GlobalVillages has much to offer. The village pattern alone can produce the core savings and efficiencies that will balance our bio-productivity and the ecological life support with the numbers of people on the planet and our footprint. I have explained in this proposal that we humans should be able to adjust to a life of abundance for the 7 to 9 billion of us that will be here before population stabilizes and that we can do this on a small 2 to 4 % of the land area of the planet, while we cultivate and nurture the resurgence of wildlife and biodiversity on the remainder of the land outside the boundaries of our "Ecological Habitat".
There is no question that our positive action can boost this NPP number and as we reforest and afforest and initiate programs to halt the expansion of the deserts and the destruction of soils by ignorant agribusiness practices - then we will see that we are part of solution and that life on earth can flourish under a wise and ecologically sound life support system for all of humanity.
This positive view is real and I challenge anyone to refute the basis of my argument above. Yes, much is needed to develop the potential of this ecological and photosynthesis based approach - but it is within reach of anyone that would like to make an effort and the more so, if and when we get together to pioneer this EcoLiving approach.

I have been working with Ed Burton, an eminent scientist and inventor with a background in Chemistry and Forestry. The body of our work involves turning waste into products. We now know that there is no such thing as waste. Waste is better defined as: "an unallocated resource". Properly allocated, the waste of one process becomes the food of the next process.
Our primary method is the sequestration of everything from NOx and SOx, CO2 to the phyto-remediation (plant removal) of metal radicals like Chrome 6+ and Arsenic 3+. Our key process is photosynthesis which represents respiration, the conversion of CO2 to O2 and Water. As animals this is our fundamental partnership with GAIA.
In the last 10 years we have developed an alternative to the septic tank for flush toilets. These systems typically cost $25 to $35,000 per house. This is completely out of line with developing countries. Our system utilizes wastewater in an aerobic bioreactor which generates CO2. The wastewater then is processed in an algae pond by plankton and other living organisms. This water is then sent to hydroponic redwood seedlings in a greenhouse. The CO2 gas from the bioreactor is fed into the sealed greenhouse. The trees convert this CO2 into Oxygen and large amounts of evapotranspired pure water. The whole system is powered by one 75 watt PV panel. Finally, an integrated system for dealing with our human waste that is an incubator for young trees.

Our tools for harvest are all solar-powered and the harvest is also a hedge against forest fires. For your information: 14 lbs of dry wood (Douglas fir) is equal to one gallon of gasoline. To clear a forest of branches and dead wood conservatively yields 2,800 lbs per acre, or 200 gallons of gasoline per acre, every year. This information is extremely relevant for the rural sectors of the world.
