The day the content returned! At last all our "Legacy" postings are back. The ones the Moderators never got round to looking at should even have all the original links intact...
Sadly, that can't be said for those that were Modded in the gap between Rupert and the restoration of links earlier this year - those are gone forever.
Still, we can't have everything.
Now all we need is an official way to include our own graphical content on our user spaces and articles...

My bed is wet, my sheets are in the wash.
No, I didn't pee on it. A six-year old did. Some time before I bought it.
Since the sheets were due for a wash, I took the opportunity to spray the "eclipse corona" shaped yellow stain on the mattress with Oxy spray, in the hope of making it go away. All I got in return was a (*slightly* fainter) black stain and a wet mattress that is taking an age to dry out.
So, I've spread a bath towel over the top to soak up the worst of it - I'll remove it before I crash to give it the best chance of drying out overnight - and I'm all set up to crash in the armchair tonight.
My shopping arrived, so now I have the batteries for the Logitech remote. But I still can't find the remote.
I watched "Doctor Who", "Case Histories" and I'm about to watch "Nurse Jackie" plus assorted stuff on Netflix. (And just maybe "Die Hard 5", if it gets here OK... )

Knackered. 23 Hours Ago
Yesterday's exertions took their toll. I was phenomenally tired today, and twice had to just pass out asleep in the armchair when I *really* wanted to be doing something else.
I spent the conscious parts of my day reconfiguring my "Cyclone Android X2" media player to try to both run XBMC and play Netflix without stuttering. It still needs a little work...
I watched "Arrested Development", "Doctor Who", (an amusing look back to when Hartnell stole the TARDIS! ) "Arne Dahl" and I'm sort of half-watching, but mostly listening to "...Sings James Bond".
Easing me in gently Yesterday
I downloaded the last double-length episode of "Elementary" this morning, and sat down to watch it with about 9 minutes or so to spare between when it would end and the arrival of my taxi to go to the Jobcentre. It was exceptionally good, but about 2/3rds of the way through, just as the big plot twist was revealing itself, there was a buzz at the door and James "the Weird Person" arrived. I shouted at him for showing up at the most inappropriate of times; he countered that I had "invited him". It turns out that I had absent-mindedly said something to the effect of "I might see you later in the week" when I was shooing him out of the house so I could catch my previous taxi...
So, the end of "Elementary" had to be left till I got home, with the sense of wonder and suspension of disbelief completely dissipated.
My appointment at the Jobcentre went better than expected. The woman behind the desk was struggling with the new rules as much as I was. Eventually, she put the fact down that I had lost half a stone in weight as my "Work-Related Activity", just so the form wasn't blank, and refunded my taxi fares. On my way out I bumped into Akis, ten years after he first transferred me onto "Incapacity Benefit". We caught up a little.
I got home and watched the end of "Elementary". I also watched "The Big Bang Theory", "Stargate SG1", "Have I Got News for You", "QI" and "The Graham Norton Show".
I'm in the process of installing XBMC on my Android X2 set-top box. Tomorrow I'll tear the couch apart looking for the Logitech RF remote control that goes with it.
Metabolically challenged. 2 Days Ago
I got to bed at quarter to two in the morning, and woke up choking at five. I couldn't get back to sleep - every time I laid my head down I nearly drowned in my own snot.
As the day progressed I slowly caught up on my sleep deficit with a series of hour-and-a-half naps sitting upright in the armchair.
But now it's gone midnight and I honestly can't tell whether I should be asleep or awake.
I'm off to bed anyway - I have a "Work-Focussed Interview" at the Jobcentre just after lunchtime tomorrow.
I watched "Arrow", "Criminal Minds", "CSI", "NCIS: LA", "Supernatural", "Stargate SG1", "Murder on the Home Front", "Arrested Development" and "Covert Affairs".
Mid-day exhaustion. 3 Days Ago
The day started well. Bob and I launched the new font feature on my "Mustardland" site, and apart from two very specific problems, one of which only seems to affect the "iPad Mini", it seems to be working.
But by 3pm I was completely exhausted. I sat down to watch "NCIS", but didn't get past queueing it up on the media player - I fell asleep, with no real warning, and didn't wake up for more than two hours.
I've got a "Work-Focussed Interview" on Friday afternoon up at the Jobcentre. Let's hope that doesn't happen then.
Eventually, I watched "Grimm", "NCIS", "Stargate SG1", "10 O'Clock Live", "Law & Order: SVU", "Bob's Burgers", "Family Guy", "The Cleveland Show" and "The Simpsons". I've got an episode of "NCIS: LA" to watch, but that can wait till tomorrow.
