Well, here I am.........

The nearly, (almost)real me.

No aliases here, no false-beard word images. Just me.

Charlie is my real name, and Chips because I like messing around sticking bits of wood together. Some people might call it cabinet-making, and if owning tools equated to either quality or volume of output, then the nickname should be Chippendale rather than Chips. Sadly, Chips will have to do. On the plus side, at least it lets me escape from the house at the weekend, and my other half seems to enjoy the exotic shaped firewood that comes from the lathe.

Other accoutrements include kids, dogs, and too much garden, all of which limit the size of the workshop output, but whose presence I much enjoy.

HooToo is an occasional indulgence. Quiet moments at work (I wish!), evenings when the better half is out. Sometimes I am here, often not - but it's fun when I am!
