Today is THE day!!!

It is 4:00am and I can't sleep. I'm way too excited! Today I get to marry my dream girl. In seven hours Shea and I will finally be Mr. and Mrs.

It seems like only yesterday I was living in Houston and planning for a long lonely life. Then I found h2g2 and it has literally changed my life. I can't believe how fast my life has changed since I first signed on. A little over a year ago I didn't know what was about to hit me.

Now, in less than seven hours, I will be a married Noo Yawka, and happier than I have ever been in my life.

And as a little added bonus the Great and Powerful Thingite Ostrich Warlord Clive and the Wonderful and Mysterious Amy and the Elusive yet Ever-Present TACSATDUK will be joining us to witness our vows. I wish all of you from h2g2 could be here to celebrate with us.

Just stopping in to say hello

To anyone who sees this, I just wanted to let you all know I'm still around, albeit not much lately. I'm kinda stuck between cities at the moment - still stuck in Houston but all my stuff is already in New York. I'm staying with a friend temporarily. But I still miss all of you very much. I just don't get much time online these days. Hopefully I will be back full time when I finally get moved to NY and after Shea's and my wedding!

I don't know if anyone will even notice this entry but I at least wanted to put it up here so that if anyone is wondering about me this might explain my frequent absences lately.

My RL has been exceptionally busy recently and it has been keeping me away from h2g2 far too much lately. Most of you know of my impending wedding to the wonderful Shea the Sarcastic . But at the same time as I am preparing for that happy day I also have many other things to plan for.

I have been involved in selling my house in Houston, looking for a new residence in New York, planning my move, looking for a new job in New York, and also trying to keep a small business afloat. It has all been very time-consuming to say the least.

I hate not having enough time to spend here with all of you. I consider many of you to be very good friends of mine and I miss you all immensely. I can only hope that when my life gets back to what would pass for normal (in about 4 months) I'll be able to get back to spending quality time here with you again.

Until then I will try to stop in occassionally, as time permits, to let you all know that I am still alive.

I'll be seeing you!

On Thing, December 6, 2001, I formally asked the lovely Shea to be my wife and she said yes!

Actually her reply was more along the lines of, "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!"

I can't believe how happy I am! I have never felt this fantastic before. I never would have guessed I could feel this great!

Shea (Barbara) is an incredibly wonderful woman and I cannot fully express how deep my feeling are for her. But she has made me deliriously happy, and in 207 days I have a feeling I'm am going to be even happier! If that's even possible.

I'm off to Noo Yawk to see Shea again for a few days. I'm also going to get to meet Shea's Sis. Should be a good weekend. See you all on Sodit.
