Hello. This is my space. I like to think of it as cosy, but it's hard to tell if it is or isn't, as it has no actual physical boundaries. If you like, pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea, and relax. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I am a part-time philosopher, a full-time student, and, at times, rather witty. Oh, and here, I am an Assassin. Thus my right to seem more cultured than I really am. Deep rooted inside me is the desire for justice, humour, contentment, and righteousness, accompanied by a craving for tea, coffee, or sanity. You see, no one is really sane. Those who think they are are just hallucinating. I have gotten around this hallucination. I don't speak to trees (they are rather rude) and I know I can't fly (I took Honours Physics), but I know that I don't conform,and I like it. My Take on Christianity If you didn't see the cross by my name, I will duly inform you that I am a Christian. I won't try and tell you about Christ if you don't want me to, but I'll always talk if you want. My philosophy is this: Christianity is a battle against the forces of Satan. I intend to save as many of my fellows before the end, or, as Robert Jordan so well puts it, "Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in The Dark One's eye on the Last Day." Whatever the Enemy wants, I oppose, where ever he works, I will try and counter. That is my purpose in life, it seems, among others. So, there you have it. I am very passionate about my God, as is anyone who has really felt His touch. I would love to share it with all of you, but if you don't want to hear me prattle on, I will respect your choice. For one, it's over. Bloody hell, I didn't see that one coming, although I'm somewhat glad it is. My summer has been a busy one, and rewarding all the same. I spent my weekdays occupied working, full time, as an intern for Caterpillar. My frustrating business systems analysis class actually paid off, and my programming knowledge actually led me to be able to create three separate programs that are usable, two of which are actually spreading around in my department, increasing productivity and all that good stuff.
All my work there paid off in another way, too; my last day, I received a call from Caterpillar's HR department, and walked away with a job offer for when I graduate. This is phenomenal, really. They'll be paying me a very tidy sum as far as starting pay is concerned, and lifts a few great weights off my mind. From here on, my financial concerns for the future are much more limited. I'll be able to buy a car, get a house, and (someday) support a family. No rush, though, for I am back at school, hurrah!
Now, I may get some odd responses due to my endless enthusiasm at the beginning of this school's year; I don't care. I truly enjoy it here. A wonderful view, good friends, good classes, not to mention free food and spare time to kill. I also might add that Ellie and I are a good hour and a half closer, which is wonderful. I'm hoping to see her this weekend; it's been nearly a month since we last saw each other, and she's been on my mind for a little while every day. Lord knows I love that girl. ^_^;
Anyhow, I must away. Dinner is soon, and I'd be a fool to miss it.

It really ticks me off, the way Christians get discriminated against some times. For example...
People are moving to replace the good ol' B.C. and A.D. divisions in time with these newfangled B.C.E. and C.E. That's rubbish! So you don't believe in Jesus? Okay then, if you're gonna remove that, you'll also have to do away with January (Janus), February (Februus), March (Martius/Mars), May (Maia), and June (Juno), all of which are named after gods. Gah! Why can't people just leave things that are working well enough alone?
Excuse my frustration, I just needed a good place to vent.

is what I have started. Yes, you unbelievers, I am now on my way, learning the martial arts, in the hopes that I will someday be able to prevent getting the everloving crap beaten out of me.
Man, I'm sore. Seriously, though, I've changed my outlook on things. I'm actually /working out/. I work at a health club, have worked there for three years, and I am now, finally, using it. I'm even going to take yoga to get bendy. I may even start developing muscle tone... 
Bah. Who knows?
