Downloading Pictures

This is an open appeal to all my h2g2 friends.I`ve what should be a simple problem : I can`t download & access pictures I`ve taken on our new digital camera.That is,I can download them--but then I can`t access them.This should be simple thing;we`ve the helpfull download pictures software.But, no matter where in the depths of our computer I go,I can`t retrieve them!!!!????**#@^???!!! What am I not do-ing????

.This is a regular server prob.,but that doesn`t help me go to

We got DSL

Well,pythonfans done went & got us hooked-up to DSL.Things will never be the same! It`s 2 months free useage~but he`ll never give it back.I must say, it`s rather ; & hopefully I`ll be able to read my mail while he`s KaZza-ing out.Talk about a new toy!

I realize May is not your run-of the mill month for me.I know more people born in May than I can instantly remember.I`m a May b`dy,but of more importance to me is that my Godmother`s 87 May 12th.Shes my last living adult relative (cancer took my Godfather,who was a brillant pianist,head of the music dept.at University of BC,Vancouver,in the early 1990`s).I so wish she could use a computer,but that`s out of the question,so I snail-mail her.The only problem is that I want to write the perfect letter-succiently summing up where I`m at whildst gently ?ing her how she feels(generally rotten,as shes been plagued by an unrelenting series of mini-strokes since my godfather died.at last writing she couldn`t do anything for herself-had to depend on Nurses-how maddening!But I am almost desperate to let her know the adult I`ve become- her mind`s completely intact.So its off to find a card & to start a letter-wish me luck!!(After Ive at least said hi to various & sundry people) 
for all the B`dys of May~Neugen .btw,couldnt connect to anything at 1st this am..finally went thru Internet Explorer to get here!

cards about.I also covet Amy_p1`s T-shirt like crazy;so,without ever reading the post,which I think`s an important point here;I`d sooooo it if maybe anyone who lands here for visits could at least think about swiping 1 for me Id to me.Maybe the Rolling Reveu has resources??I could,if forced,even read the Post(Amy_p1 came in 2nd--bravo!!).But I`d just love a sz.Med/lrg T shirt(dependng on if its all cotton or part or god-knows-what).N-)So I feel an Honarary( ) for the Honorable Muse-hood is in order... psychic vampires

A " " by j`z`c brought to mind a group of people I want to talk about.I call them..'psychic vampires'.. These are the type of people who drain you~psychic-ly.I call them psychic-vampires.After chat w/1 of the breed-you feel drained/tired/mentally out-of-it. So, to j`z`c for making me remember `dem types?? Anyone know what I refer to?

Brit`s collages

I`ve just e-mailed some of my friend Brit`s collages to several friends.He really cuts out the pictures & then assembles them 1 by 1. I think they`re really -of course,being~24 he`s not thrilled w/Dubya`s desire to start ww3;so some of Brit`s collages are political-but the 1 thing they have in common is that he knows about every portrait,every symbol,he puts into a collage.He soaks up world news from many sources,& has an astonishing knowledge of world history.

It seems I can`t get anywhere now that I figured out the proper nm.to log in.I keep getting'web site not found' when I try to visit any of my conversations-The speed that connects 1 pg. to another is so slow that 1/2 thru the connection loading bar it`s 'web-site not found'.I tried to join 'my BBC' but the registration link was'not found'either.I`m ,but I`ve been waiting to use the computer all day(it`s 6:37pm).Actually,I don`t know if this entry will even 'enter'

This is so frustrating-I`m Neugen ;only used a computer for a month-yet time & time I can reach my home space & nowhere else!I`d to chat w/j`z`c/Hati/Karen/Amy-but can`t even get through to answer ?`s on my own space!! The new 'Lexmark Z22 printer' we just got doesn`t even print out coffee coupons(colours,but no words).Gary knows a bit more than I but he`s no computer-head either,so he just tries,gets frustrated,& finally says he`ll ask someone .This is a new Dell p.c..Maybe it`s aol-which a friend calls the mcDonalds of connectors-I`d much rather go earthlink or 1 of the others-juno-I think.This just frustrates me when I`m told the connection I request is 'Too busy' just now & to try again .7am isn`t the busiest time of the day in Calif(us).so why,why,why,does this keep happening???? I think James Burke would be a fantastic contributor to the guide. He hosts a series called "connections(1,2,&3) on TV`s Discovery-learning chanel in Calif.(usa).I believe,from his accent,that he`s English.He (factually)can trace just about anything modern to its` roots.From water-wheels to computers-that sort of thing.
