Dear Friends of Create,
And any other interested readers. 
This is a short journal just to keep you in the picture as to the up to date challenges that we have on the go at the moment.
For September only, we have a new opportunity to share recipes, especially traditional family recipes from round the globe. A87769831
For August and for a few more weeks to come, we're still asking you to send in photos of Elton Abroad, A87767257 : we really hope you manage to snap the hamster on his Great Escape.
We're still encouraging Updates of old Entries and Flea Market rescues, and last but not least we've been receiving a lot of photographs for old Entries, some of which are now being added by Matt to the relevant Entry. You can remind yourselves of the details in the Challenge Extra Entry here: A87764746
Please make sure that you claim your qualifying contributor badge or better still more than one badge!

Calling Create volunteers

How on earth did it get to be nearly August?
I read on the Create planning page that August was marked as 'Books and Review'. So please add any suggestions for August either here or over in Trello.
All Create volunteers *should have received an invitation to join the Trello Create planning board. Please do so, it's a much easier thing to use than Noesis, and we can keep track of planning far better. It can host images very well, and do a lot more than the Noesis forum ever could.

There is also an important document that all volunteers should read, the link to it can be found both in Noesis Create forum and Trello Create board.

Hi Everyone
I am sad to let you know that Solnushka is no longer able to spare enough time to be responsible for running Create. I know that you will all join me in thanking her for all that she has done to get this project off to such a good start.
Please take a look at a message that I've put onto the Noesis forum. If you're not able to access it, please let me know.
If you want to volunteer to help run Create, and are not already an official volunteer, please contact me as well.
We intend to keep Create running, as it has been such fun and has some interesting stuff in the pipeline.
Oh, and take a look at the competition on the new Front Page.

It was great to see so many people this last weekend!
But no time to rest.
Bluebottle (you may have noticed his Purplebottle at the meet) has issued a chalenge to all those who attended, or did not attend, the Museum of Scienceand Industry while in Manchester: A87743596
And while Pastey has already admirably covered the venue for the Friday Fringe meet in the Guide ( A87726937 ), there is as yet no entry on the hangout for the Saturday evening knees up. I am pretty sure that h2g2 reserachers roadtested that one fairly thoroughly, so who is up for it?

So the Do You Remember The First Time? journal task to tease out the expert disemblers amongst us has finished, and we have found out that h2g2ers take their usual creative approach to things and that somne people are really good at throwing the rest of us off the scent (and some of us aren't. Ho hum).
