To all my American Friends - HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
It's overcast here on the islands but warm and breezy. The sea doesn't look too rough in the sheltered Roadstead but there's probably a bit of a swell running outside the circle of the islands. I just heard two loud bangs - must be the lifeboat maroon - let's hope it's not an emergency and just some silly twit who has run out of fuel 
Hubby is out painting ... well, it's his job and he always DID want to be a professional full time artist 
Talking of which, it's time for me to open our Art Gallery ... bye

So, there you have it!
I signed up to h2g2 yesterday, said 'hello' to my friendly neighbourhood ACE this morning, hunted out a suitable introduction to update from an obscure folder on my computer and submitted my first entry for Review.
Not bad eh?
Phew - off to bed now ......
