Dear God I hate People who Break their Agreements -
Oct 19, 2012
Am i the only person who honours theirs?
I'm not talking about the impossible to avoid failure to meet an agreement, i mean the wilful construction of one with the sole plan to break it, or the breaking of a promise
I've never done either - call me boring or weird but i literally cannot see how people feel capable of feeling happy with themselves and go breaking them - i value mine above anything else i do - I've never broken a promise and do whatever i have to to avoid them
Dear god some people round Leeds

Any Volunteers for Bodyguards?
Oct 12, 2012
For those who don't know I am part of an Uni Assasins Guild - where you have to nonlethally kill your targets
Currently campus is relatively bloodthirtsty, but until now I wasn't specially targeted
This morning a whole bunch of post i sent using a web service arrived, each letter contained deadly germs...however i hadn't realised that the site would use near transparent letters - allowing each assassin not to open it
One especially ruthless assassin put an innocent civilian in danger and had her open it
As such, i was informed this afternoon that she had been hospitalised due to my letter's germs
As such I have now had the following pronounced upon me:
Brothers and Sisters, we have amongst us a traitor to the code. A heinous criminal who cares not for the lives of innocents nor the harm that his weapons cause. I am of course speaking of Richard Haslam and his infamous killing of Imogen Loveday's friend. As of this moment he shall be declared as a rogue assassin who needs to be stopped at any cost. He shall be cast forth and expelled from the brotherhood. Judgement shall be passed ... he will die. His death is now worth -25 points to him and a boon to the brave Justicar who enacts bloody and terrible vengeance unto him. The achievement "Justicar" has now been unlocked and will be awarded to the killer of Richard. The hunt is on...
Despite the henious lie that she is dead, and the ignoring of the assasin's flagrant breach of the code in involving a civilian, i am being targeted
...the committee in particular have nerf machine guns
Such is my life at uni in the moment
...i need to survive until the website works (roughly 11 days)
...any volunteers for bodyguards?
Moving to Jersey
Aug 18, 2012
Well, i might not leave if my UCAS status doesn't improve
Am off to Jersey and an intensive kayak course for two weeks (the course is for the latter week)
I have two friends on the island who have assured me that we will visit the island's one club
Who likes UCAS :(
Aug 16, 2012
I wish i wasn't so good at knowing how i did in my exams, with my epilepsy interfering in my exams it was never going to be great - A-levels came out today - BBB
Annoyingly 1 mark off in Maths (out of 600marks), but I can't get my grades marked up to my standard entry requirement (AAB)
Warwick hasn't withdrawn their offer yet, so i shall have to see what they decide to do this afternoon
We think too much the same Way
Aug 14, 2012
To all the volunteers who are linked to my journal who have just signed the code
Was slightly amused (and disturbed) that i wasn't the first person who was wondering whether we had to sign the code of conduct in blood, and how we would do so
I personally also think that it is the longest running thread to stay on subject ever in hootoo
Though i was quite happy that the thread i started over why polygamy was illegal stayed on theme for over 100 posts before breaking down, given that i started it with a devil's advocate argument and not especially high hopes
Nothing like hootoo in the morning...or the evening...or anytime - it doesn't matter we're always odd
I missed my Birthday
Jul 31, 2012
Unlike my "real" birthday when i caught it five hours before it happened (i thought this was close enough, but it let me pick dinner)
I missed my actual birthday completely
I'll have some retrospective
Anyone who cares to join me in a retrospective party feel free to join

OPENING CEREMONY!!!!!
Jul 28, 2012
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Prepare for a rant and detail, even if you've seen it
We got into the park at half five - security was quick, the soldiers and police were in a brilliant mood to everyone and the volunteers (who were literally the best part of Britain throughout the entire night) kept everyone in an good mood, both getting in and leaving at half one - it was a long ceremony for those there
A few instructions for us - every seat had a panel which did lights which we were responsible for moving but nothing complex - except the sea moving
I've not seen this from the outside so i don't know how it looked, but it was pretty good inside
Though the stadium did like the line while we were doing it "YOu'll be underneath for about thirty seconds so turn to someone you don't know and have some fun" :D
20.12 - Flyby with the red arrows - amazing, straight over our heads
And yes I should mention the inside - odd, but funny nevertheless
The industrial revolution bit might be my favourite of the evening - around 800 drummers, non of which anyone could see - certanly everyone i could see jumped, so I suspect 80,000 did - 20 minutes of thunder - it was brilliant
I'm sure you saw the rest of it, but the athletes and dancers during the athletes march were more then willing to talk to you (we were about 10 rows back from the front, and as well as being British we have a Bermudan link, so we were cheering the three athletes as they went by)
The torch/cauldron was very cleverlly done, though I thought it was more obvious than others realised that each country was carrying a torch, but i hadn't realised what they were going to do with them
Skipping past everything else I will just comment again how amazing the volunteers were - they'd been there even longer than us and they were (without an exception) cheerful, funny (making comments everywhere to cheer people up) and polite, as well as helpful
Thank you to Boyle and to them all for a great night
The FOOP?
Jun 20, 2012
Looking at the h2g2 Wiki article I read that apparently we named the downtime after we left the beeb "The FOOP"
Now i remember many names being suggested (my favourite being the intereditorium), but never the FOOP...not impressed
Five out of Eight

And so my journal progresses...well in my lazy view i consider that - it actually manages to progress with me doing no work, i fear that at some stage i might have to write some more entries...fussy CEs
Front Page in Brunel
May 29, 2012
Hi, i did ask when we switched over, but evidently Pastey and his troglodyte crew were more than a tad busy at that time
Does anyone know how to view the FP in Brunel?
Whenever I come onto the site (in our nice shiny new skin), i go to pref, and switch to Brunel.
At that point i get taken to my PS, if i try to go to the FP (or to an entry) i get moved out of Brunel -
can anyone help?
Nbb
And many Cheerful Facts about the Square of the Hypotenuse - AMAZING!
May 7, 2012
To those that know either the tune to "Modern Major-General" or perhaps the Elements song you MUST see this
http://www.xkcd.com/1052
I spent a good few minutes singing it through to myself, cheered me up immensely
The Project Begins
Feb 27, 2012
First one of my Olympic project is up, and i get the first artwork by KWDave i believe - i like the artwork, its a new style, and I get to enjoy draining his time since he's doing all my project :D
More accurately i want to see how his method is going to cope when he has to do my pole vault entry
They like Noticing me in PR
Feb 20, 2012
Am on the FP again for being in PR, not as good as last time though when i was in the FP in three different places - entry, PR and post
Answer my Question on Scottish Referendum????
Jan 13, 2012
Hi guys,
I've been wondering, at least as of the moment any person in Britain is free to go anywhere they want, and assuming they are allowed to vote, they can register for national votes whereever they wish (local votes require living there, but not national votes)
Does this mean that hundreds of thousands of english men and women could register in Scotland before the referendum, vote, and then switch back?

All over the Place
Jan 1, 2012
Wow, both my Modern Piracy entry and my Create thing on the FP at the same time...and at 10ish, evidently the Eds have lots of spare time, i must think of some more things to fill their spare time with
The Project Begins
Dec 7, 2011
The first part of my project has had its initial content done
A87725109
The project Can be seen there - only one bit actually filled in, and the project page itself is just a reminder to myself, so not that much point
THe entry you should look at is
A87727008 - Shot Put
Which is currently in the EGWW, but it seems pretty inactive atm, which if we want to reduce non suitable entries being submitted to PR, seems foolish.
Great, another Seizure :(
Dec 3, 2011
Looks like my epipesy is back
Finish my Latin lesson, just walking out and the next thing i remember is three hours later
Nearly bit through my tongue
Back has seized up
Neck is crippled
Numerous cuts and bruises as i fell down the stairs
And no idea what it will have done to my memory
Great day in all
God I HATE Funerals!
Nov 29, 2011
One week to the day when my entire school was told that one of our number had been found dead at home we have just had our funeral.
Despite a large campaign to tell us that it was no compulsory to attend, I'm pretty certain we had our entire school there.
I did not know the girl herself, but her sister and brother are good friends of mine.
I'm part of the choir, and had been holding up quite well until our final song "Time to say Goodbye"
I wish I was like some, who, even though they are my age, had never attended a funeral, one alone is more than enough.
God I hate funerals
UCAS offer!
Nov 8, 2011
Just got my first UCAS offer to Warwick - AAB, a little higher than the average, but lower than my predicted grades so i should be higher
Durham takes ages to reply and my other three choices dont reply until after January so now i have months to wait
Ah Look at the FP
Oct 23, 2011
We've flicked over to the new week!!
Its Changed!!!
Change scares me!
We're back, and i get a present as well
Oct 22, 2011

Has returned from the land of the singing - my choir tour has finished
My legs have not yet recovered from the not quite sucessful navigating of my choir master - in the last 24 hours only 4 were spent sleeping, the rest flying, walking, coaching (the moving variety) and training (again, the moving variety)
