We were staying with friends in Calgary but hired a car for a few days and drove over into British Columbia. The Rockies were cool - but I liked the forested mountains a bit further west and the beautiful lakes. It's all so clean and peaceful. We got to go to a hockey game in Calgary - which was an experience! There weren't many goals scored but there were a good few punch ups - which was what seemed to count with the crowds!
