Actually, the main problem with Tunbridge Wells is that having walked all the way down the hill to the Pantiles, which are quite pretty and where there's a good tapas bar, it's a helluva slog up the hill again to the railway station and the bus stops.
That's why no-one leaves. They're too knackered.

If you walk all the way down the hill to the Pantiles why not sit in a bar until the evening and then go to the forum, over the road.
They have some really good event on there.

I'm a big fan of the World Music nights.


Once you've been bopping and drinking all night you may not remember walking back up the hill
