I think that a group such as the “S-Club Juniors” is a farce, a prototype made by the music industry to try and bring pop music to the younger, more impressionable generation.

All Adults know that good things don't last forever, but when these young "band" members begin to fail, they are going to find it much harder to accept. We have all heard stories about the music industry, and I would be surprised if any one of them passes 26 with out have dieing of an over-dose.

*sorry for being so down-cast, but this is what i think*

We have had severial young musical acts, that have come and gone over the years of the Pop Generations.

I think they are the records that we prefere to forget as we grow older and become more decening.

The few that were in those groups and have sucseeded in the music buisnes, work in the behind the scenes.

The Music is rubbish, it not intended to be anything other than be a monney earner.

My concern is how the world of Pop affects the children.

i agree, being viewed as a "pop sensation" at such a young age can't be good for your ego, amongst other things.

(P.S. how old are they any way?)

A) The average age of the group is 12

B) When finding out this information I found a web site which describes my view entirely.

"The pressure and stress you are putting those kids though, giving them popstar status at a time they're at their most impressionable, not to mention the severe damage you're doing to their personal development. Great, so they go through their teens cocooned in their little popstar world, so when they finally realise there's a real world out there, they have to resort to drugs and alcohol just to cope with all the S*%@ the rest of us grew used to years ago."
