Two things spring to mind. 1. It is no coincidence that many key-rings have a bottle opener incorporated. 2. If you hold a bottle with the edge of its cap against a garden wall, and strike the shoulder of the bottle firmly with your palm, you can get the cap off cleanly. Practice is required.
