| | Ah the great and wonderful Euphonium, it's about time that the ultimate instrument had a little more press coverage! I always hated having to explain
'what's one of them?'
which is invariably the next question following the conversation:
'What instrument did you play?'
'The Euphonium...'
The dots signify the pregnant pause in which the questioner considers the answer before realising they've never heard of it)
Truth be told I haven't touched one in years but I do remeber playing a few good parts in Bach's Air on a G string for example and the slightly less classical 'Theme from Jurassic Park' but yes, there is a dirth of material for this great instrument.
