This is the Conversation Forum for Battle of New York City, USA Subject: New York and it's Dutch history Posted Oct 31, 2007 by Alfredo   Posting 1 It's a bit off topic, but just a few peoples know that New York has been a Dutch colony around the year 1624 - 1664 and after that just again in 1673. A couples of years.
