Entry: Poems of an unknown Southern Lady - A817599
Author: Researcher 201532 - U201532

Just some things I have been writing since I visited Emily Dickensons
house in Amherst Mass. US this spring.
Don't think Im channeling Emily, just that being there got my
creative juices flowing. Hope you enjoy.

Oh yes. I enjoyed! A year late... but I enjoyed! The author hasn't posted here since Sep 8, 2002, which is frustrating.

If you ever come back, let me tell you that I laughed out loud at the first one, and enjoyed the challenge of the back-flip in the second one.

I also like the sparceness of the language. I wish I could write such short lines.

Thanks for posting, and I am only sorry that these have been so grieviously ignored for so long.

Thanks for bumping this up Ben hug

I laughed at the first one too. I liked that I was sort of expecting a serious conclusion, but ended up with a bit of a joke.

The second one has a few lines that I don't really follow, but I think I still get the general point. I also like all of the implications, and how you dance around the idea. smiley

Inspired by Emily huh. One of my favourite love letters was written by her. Not to me obviously. To her sister in law. I read it in a book.

Anyway, I like, and thought maybe suitable for the CAC...but shall look up the others by this interesting Elvis.
