They're natural aristocrats. I mean, the way they look and act and look at humans makes it clear that they are the real rulers of this place (cats do eat mice, you know). The man wot wrote the book was wrong. Cats are from Venus and Dogs are from Mars. Venus is linked in mythology and folklore with Love. Cats have a great deal of Love, Insight, Sympathy, and intelligence beyond human knowledge. You will observe, if you live in a civilized country like New Zealand (where we have lots of them - mice that is)a cat will PLAY with a mouse, or a rat, or a bird, BEFORE eating it. I think this shows a desire for the cat to SHARE a time of bonding with the mouse - or whatever. And cats have souls. They don't just die and disintergrate. They return to Venus, have a bit of a holiday, and come back to love, cherish and share with us humans. Cats have absolutely nothing to do with astrology stuff. they're too smart for that.
