Famed for a drawing, and standing in for a 3 part demand for something from his Lord.

Who was he
Where and when did he live
What was his famous drawing
How did the drawing figure in the demands
How did he contrive his own end

Don't know why but Albrecht Durer's hare leaps to mind (if you'll pardon the seasonal pun, but don't know why.

Don't know many famous drawers. blush

Da Vinci maybe?

Both may have had a pact with the Creator or his oppo... shrug

Hmm. Shame.

was thinking how some artists can be perceived to have sold their soul. Blake seems to spring to mind with his inferno paintings, but they aren't drawings. But doesn't marry up with your creator question...

Is the Lord eternal or temporal?

I was thinking of Hogarth, but if Blake is too late, then he probably is too.

Was religious iconography involved? Thinking of Michaelangelo or one of his ilk.

Does the drawing involve something circular in nature (based on the title)?
