  | | well, it is costing me a load of money which i hadnt budgeted for, because we had been given no indication that thre would be an internet connection available before we got here. but i figure in the end it will probably save me money because it will stop me spending money on entertainment.
how's it going with you then? i take it your accomodation leaves much to be desired. that sounds like mine as an under grad. i got so lucky this time round. lots of the post grad rooms are nasty, but the hall i'm in is nice. we even have working heating! its november and here i am in a shirt and no layers of jumpers. makes a nice change from my first year when we had no heating.

| | I am in a large room but with one wall almost entirely window (privacy, what privacy?), no internet, no good heating, the annoying thing is that half of my block has internet and heating, but the rest (whre I am) won;t get done till next summer, when it's too late.

| | i'm getting fed up with washing my hair, cos i have to do it in the sink as the shower is only really useful for washing your body in. i am tempted to cut it all off really really short. but i am lothe to do it because it grows really slowly and is really fine. this means that unless it is liong there is no weight pulling on it and it just all sticks up in the air and i looks like a derranged and half bald gerbil.....with yellow fur. not pretty. i need to get a job in 18 months so i need to be respectable for then so i cant really cut the damn stuff off.
